4. How we use information

5. Advertising and your choices

Ads are served by Google AdMob and its partners, which may use your advertising ID to personalise ads. You can:

Rewarded ads are only shown when you choose to watch one to unlock a challenge.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers listed in section 2, who process it under their own privacy policies, and where required by law. Local alarm data is never shared.

7. Data retention

Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Analytics and advertising data are retained by the respective providers according to their policies (Firebase Analytics event data is retained for up to 14 months by default). Push-notification registrations are kept while the App is installed and deleted when the token becomes invalid.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA or Australian Privacy Act) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent. Because the App does not hold accounts, most data can be removed by uninstalling the App and resetting your advertising ID. For any other request, contact us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

Data transmitted by the App uses HTTPS. Local data is stored in the App's private, sandboxed storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International transfers

Our service providers may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. They rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change and significant changes will be announced in the App or on the store listing. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
